Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

Chocolate chia seed pudding

Who says that chia can be used in boring main courses only. The trend of chia seeds desserts is on the rise. Chocolate chia seed pudding is no different. This pudding looks so tempting and is equally delicious. To make this pudding you only require a handful of ingredients. This simple and scrumptious recipe is loved by people of all age groups so try it and impress your friends and family. This recipe serves for 4; you can always increase the quantity according to your requirement.

Ingredients:

  1. Unsweetened Almond milk 1 ½ cup
  2. ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon
  3. sea salt ¼ teaspoon
  4. chia seeds 1/3 cup
  5. unsweetened cocoa powder ¼ cup
  6. maple syrup 2-5 tablespoon (to taste)

Instructions

Take a mixing bowl and add the all ingredients mentioned above except the sweetener in it. Now there are two ways of making this pudding, according to your preference you have the option of blending the mixture or just whisking all the ingredients together. If you decide to blend it, you can sweeten the mixture by adding maple syrup in it later.

This mixture should be covered and allowed to rest overnight, if you are on a time limit 3-5 hours will be enough, just keep it in a fridge until it achieves a pudding like consistency.

If you like your pudding to be very smooth, creamy and well blended. Blend the mixture again after taking it out of the fridge. Then taste the mixture and sweeten, until you are completely satisfied by the end result.

This pudding tastes best when it is chilled; enjoy it by garnishing whipped cream, chocolate syrup, granola and your favorite fruits on top of it.
