Tofu Bites


Ingredients  :

  • 1 pound extra firm tofu, drained and cut into  cubes
  • 1/3 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon dark sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • salt and pepper, to tase


Preparation :

Put your tofu onto several layers of heavy-duty paper towels and cover it. Leave it like that for about 10 minutes  and just occasionally press it with your hands. Heat the cooking pan, add oil, add tofu, and sauté it for about 7 minutes or until it’s browned. When the tofu is fluffy and browned place, it in a large bowl. Drizzle with soy sauce and vinegar; toss gently to coat. Add salt and pepper to taste, and toss again. Cover it  and chill at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Serve at room temperature with toothpicks for eating.


Triple Berry Tofu Smoothie

Everyone loves smoothie, especially if they are full of fruits and tasty like this one. Try this – the kids will love it. (We recommend this for breakfast.)

Triple Berry Tofu Smoothie

Ingredients  :

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 1/2 cup silken tofu
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup ice

Preparation :

As almost every smoothie –  just blend ingredients together until smooth and creamy, and serve immediately.


Vegan  Macaroni And Cheese with Tofu


Ingredients  :

  • 12 ounces of macaroni (or other short pasta shape such as cavatappi)
  • 12-ounces firm or extra-firm silken tofu
  • 2 tablespoons vegan buttery spread
  • 2 cups firmly packed cheddar-style nondairy cheese
  • 2 cup broccoli, steamed, optional for topping

Preparation :

Cook macaroni in simmering water and drain it after it’s cooked, according to package directions. Add tofu to a food processor (or use a regular mixer if you don’t have a food processor) and mix it until it’s smooth. Meanwhile heat sauce pan on medium temperature pour mixed tofu, vegan butter and cheese and mix it for few minutes until all combine. After that combine the cooked macaroni and sauce in a serving container and stir together. Top with broccoli, if desired. Season with salt to taste and serve at once.


Grilled Tofu With Vegetables

This is a great treat for kids!


Ingredients  :

  • Tofu
  • Garlic
  • Onions
  • Red Pepper
  • Zucchini
  • Soy sauce
  • Peanut butter
  • Honey
  • Peanut oil
  • Chili garlic sauce – optional
  • Cilantro
  • Salt


Preparation :

Drain the tofu and wrap it in some paper towels. Press it for at least 15 minutes and reheat the oven grill.Add garlic, soy sauce, honey, peanut butter and peanut oil to a food processor and blend. Once the mix is smooth, add the chili garlic sauce and chopped cilantro and churn again. Cut the tofu into cubes. Take a bowl place the tofu cubes and add the garlic mix along with the seasoning. Let the tofu marinate for an hour.Now take the tofu and place it on a skewer alternating with red pepper, zucchini, and onion cubes. Place them on the grill and cook until it turns golden brown.Use the leftover marinade as a sauce.

Marinated Tofu and Broccoli Kebabs



    • ¼ cup olive oil, plus more for the grill
    • 1 package (14 ounces) extra-firm tofu, drained and cut into 1-inch pieces
    • 2 lemons, each cut into 8 wedges, plus 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
    • 3 cups broccoli florets
    • ½ small red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces

Heat grill to medium. Once it is hot, clean the grill grate with a wire brush. Just before grilling, oil the grill grate.Soak 8 skewers in water for at least 15 minutes.Toss the tofu, oil, lemon juice, and red pepper in a medium bowl.
