- 1 pound extra firm tofu, drained and cut into cubes
- 1/3 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dark sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- salt and pepper, to tase
Put your tofu onto several layers of heavy-duty paper towels and cover it. Leave it like that for about 10 minutes and just occasionally press it with your hands. - 2 cups fresh or frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- 1 banana
- 1 1/2 cup silken tofu
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup ice
As almost every smoothie – just blend ingredients together until smooth and creamy, and serve immediately.
Vegan Macaroni And Cheese with Tofu
- 12 ounces of macaroni (or other short pasta shape such as cavatappi)
- 12-ounces firm or extra-firm silken tofu
- 2 tablespoons vegan buttery spread
- 2 cups firmly packed cheddar-style nondairy cheese
- 2 cup broccoli, steamed, optional for topping
Cook macaroni in simmering water and drain it after it’s cooked, according to package directions. Add tofu to a food processor (or use a regular mixer if you don’t have a food processor) and mix it until it’s smooth.
