This recipe proves that ice cream can be creamy, juicy, sweet and tasty without milk, eggs and sugar. All you need are a few ripe bananas sliced into rings measuring about 5mm in thickness which you’ll put in the freezer. And then, whey you have a sweet tooth,you can make a perfectly yummy and healthy ice cream with them. One warning: don’t try to make this ice cream if you don’t have a strong blender that can crush ice as well.
Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 6 bananas, previously sliced and frozen
- 2 handfuls of blackberries (blueberry, raspberry, cherries will do if you ran out of blackberries)
Put frozen bananas and berries in a blender and blend. Be patient because banana slices will be all over the blender. Turn it off, remove the slices from the blender walls and cram them at the bottom of the blender. Turn on the blender and repeat the procedure. This way, frozen fruit will mix into a creamy and even ice cream in no time. Serve immediately and eat it straight away because it doesn’t taste that good when stored in the freezer and left to be consumed later.
