Ultimate Raw Taco Salad !

The best part about this recipe is that it contains meat which actually is not meat, and a cream dressing with no cream, unbelievable right?

This recipe is divided into 3 parts – a vegan taco part, a cream hemp seed dressing and assembling of the taco.


For vegan taco meat

Pecans- 1 cup, soaked overnight in water

Coriander-  1/2 tablespoon.

Cayenne-  1/4 tsp

Garlic powder- 1/2 teaspoon

Scallions – 4 chopped

Coconut aminos- 1 tablespoon

Chili powder- 1/2 teaspoon

For creamy hemp seed dressing:

Garlic – 2 cloves, minced

Hemp seeds – ½ cup

Extra virgin olive oil – 1 Tablespoon

Nutritional yeast – 2 tablespoon

Onion powder – 1 teaspoon

Fresh cracked pepper – 1/4 tsp

Water – ½ cup

Fresh lemon juice – 2 tablespoon

Course sea salt –  3/4 teaspoon

For salad base and assembly:

Vegan Taco Meat (above)

Chopped red bell pepper

1 sliced avocado

Chopped tomato

Mixed salad greens

Red onion, diced

Chopped cucumber

Ultra Creamy Hemp Seed Dressing (above)


For vegan taco meat

Take a mixing bowl and add all the spices in it. Put the overnight soaked pecans into a food processor and blend it until a chunky consistency is seen. Add the pecans in the bowl and combine well. Add the end add scallions and coconut aminos in the mixture.

For creamy hemp seed dressing:

Blend all the above mentioned ingredients in a blender till it turns to cream consistency with a smooth texture.

For taco salad base and assembly:

Since this recipe is for two, take two large bowls and place all the salad greens in it. Then place all the uniform size chopped vegetables on the top of the salad greens and decorate slices of avocado all over it. Then it’s time to put your taco meat and don’t forget to drizzle your cream dressing on the top. Voila! Your delicious taco salad is ready within minutes!
